After successful MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Ministry of Land Management and co-operatives of Gandaki province. GCI has completed the farmers field survey within the programme of Chief minister climate friendly Agriculture demo village for the initiation of Organic farming.
The farmer’s field has been surveyed by the team from 2077/08/18 where the 17 palikas has been selected within 9 districts. During the survey it has been concluded that most of the farmers want to get involved under safe food cultivation but due to abatement of proper awareness and market they weren’t able to adopt such farming practices and were remain abstain from safe food cultivation.
During those period GCI team has share their views and concept about the way that GCI has been involving in Organic farming and also the proper marketing of those commodities also aware those farmers about the importance of Organic cultivation. GCI has pledged to those farmers to act on the safe food cultivation with collaboration of the Agricultural ministry of Gandaki province.
